OOPS! Limited was founded in 1992 as a company specialising in Object-orientated Programming Solutions, hence the acronym!

Initially, the company exploited its experience of developing software for communications systems in a telecomms environment to write Microsoft (tm) Windows software for data transfer between IBM PCs and the popular range of Casio Digital Organisers. Although this software was written, the company was unable to exploit its full potential due to a lack of investment capital.

Subsequently, the company began to develop as a pure software consultancy, gaining its first client in the telecommunications industry in 1993. From there, the company has further developed its experience in telecommunications and diversified into such areas as power management, financial and electronic trading systems.

Currently, the company specialises in front office electronic trading systems software for the financial services industry. We have developed many interfaces between proprietary front-end trading systems and popular industry standard software systems for several large investment banks based in the City of London.

The company also maintains its interest in hand-held computing and is currently investigating the potential for developing software for Palm's range of hand-held computers.
